Heloo . I've been longing to blog about my
baby's stay here in melbourne for my two weeks of school holiday earlier but i had no time to do so. I've been... as usual, really busy with loads of homework and SACS just right at the very first day of school . =(
I have been thinking that if i don't blog now, when will I? As time passes, and the mid-year exam approaching really close, I reckon I'd be so much more drained and busy as a bee than I already am. I'm deciding not to blog as much as before for
at least A MONTH because I think I need to focus more on the books, and less on the internet, and plus I don't really have much 'leisure' time to do the things I freely want anymore. My leisure time seems to be always taken over by school and tuition. soooo yeaah.. I'll still try my best to blog whenever or whatever I can though! :)
Moving on...
--------------------
After 8 long months, I finally had the chance to meet up with baby once again(: I skipped school on the last day of school, Friday- to surprise baby at his cousin's place hehe! He was still sleeping when i arrived in the morning lol. so cute! The first week with him went at a normal pace. Then when it came to the second week, and having thoughts of the day of Baby departing back to Perth very soon, everything seemed to ran past so fast.
It's like that feeling,
"It all just still feels like yesterday."I know i know. I've been like ... always saying "oh time passes so fast" in almost every blog! but time really is ticking by fast! don't you agree?
Anyway, I really enjoyed the best two weeks of holidays ever. I have to admit it was the best two weeks of my lifeeeee and spending time with him made everything so worthwhile♥. We did so many things together and I hope every little single one of our moments will never be forgotten. =)
09/04/09 - THURSDAY

Despite my parents and brothers not present on my birthday, i had the best 18th birthday - celebrated with a bunch of lovely friends(pictured below in the latest blog) and together with babyboooo♥

he also bought me a
capucinno cake from brunetti! Just as what i always wanted on an 18th birthday =) It took us at least two weeks to finish half =[ but thank you so much baby!
yum2~We both headed to Westfield after nandos party, to have
KOKO BLACKS =) Hadn't had any eversince when baby last came last year. We had been craving for it all along .

hehe.
At night, we dined out at Dragon Palace Restaurant. This time, I PAID for our dinner!(not only cause it was my birthday!) hehe. Though it was a little too pricey for just for the price of two, the food was magnificently deliciouuuus!
I'll rate it 10 out of 10.
While waiting for the food, we photowhored. Baby seems to likeee making silly poses . hmm.

and i did the same toO! hehe

think it was baramundi fish or somethingg. cant remember
1o / 10 :)

on the way to obesity.

After filling our stomachs with so much food, we headed to Westfield again to watch
Duplicity. I have to say ........IT WAS THE SHITTEST MOVIE EVER. Serriouusly ! I almost fell asleep during the movie. Half the time I was trying to figure what the hell they were on about or what they were trying to point out in the whole movie. It was too much of a bore!
14/04/09 - TUESDAY

On a Tuesday, Harry and I, along with my Grandaunty decided to take a drive to Healesville to take a peek at birds! =O . The Sanctuary not only consisted of birds though, there were reptiles and snakes, koalas, kangaroos, tasmanian devils etc etc.. but it was mostly birds.

Healesville was one of the towns that was affected by the bushfires two months ago. The drive there took us approximately an hour. The scenery view was just plain pretty and the air smelled very refreshing =) Didn't see any burned area or anything though!

Taken by aunty^^

I think the best creature I liked about during our trip there were the bats, the eagle and the lyrebird :)

it looks funny when it spread out its wings like that! I don't get how these bats get used to the sunlight. I always thought they like being in the dark ??!

The tasmanian devil that looks like a little teddy bear . Makes me want to go in there to hug him but there were barbed electricity wires everywhere all around it :(

There were also presentations on eagles and other birds as well. I have no idea how they train these birds so well! The eagle was always swooping just above the audiences' heads! Scaryyy but it was a good experience :)

The koalas were so adorable, but at most times, they were just hiding behind bushes, just like this little one and we hardly could view them much.

After a long day at Healesville Sanctuary, we headed for lunch at Rochford restaurant, the restaurant we met on the way back home.

We ordered fish and chips, and
fried crocodile wonton!
CROCODILEEEEEE! EWW, you must be thinking. It was all baby's idea to order it. Thought it would turn out to be
really raw, greeny and tough to eat but it tasted like...
normal meat to me. o.O Wasn't so bad as I thought after all! Overall, I still prefer chicken or fish! :)

Baby bought a Wine bottle that I carrying in the picture for my Aunty hehe:) . Apparently, Rochford restaurant also has its wine section!
Baby and i were also wearing the couple tees he bought from indo on that day if you can seee what it says on both shirts in the picture above.

They also have a place for their own grapes plantation! :)
Really pretty.

Still having that amazement and excitement feeling with the animals we encountered at Healesville, baby wanted to see more animals lol.
The next day, he decided that we should both go to the Melbourne Aquarium, and so we did! We arrived to the Aquarium at about 3pm, because we, sleepyheads, wanted to sleep in more! (ok maybe it was just me who refused to wake up) hehehe.
15/04/09 - WEDS

As soon as we stepped into the Melbourne Aquarium, the first thing that caught our eyes were these PENGUINS!!! ahhh they were so cuTE! you should see them in real life! They would fascinate you so bad that you don't wanna walk away from them at all!

Penguins are good swimmers too :) These penguins kept racing and keeping up with each other in the waters.^^

i'm trying to connect with this fish too .

yummy .

see the little fishes in the transparent eggs on this very leaf?!

It belongs to this little fella.

I remember when I was young at the age of 5, my dad tried making me to touch a starfish but I was too afraid to do so so i chickened out :) Now I'm all grown up and know that starfishes don't bite! =D

hehe pretty.

WHAT A
MASSIVE STING RAY!! Apparently, these stingrays are tame and friendly, so the divers who go down into these waters to feed them don't chicken out :) I managed to witness the dive feed of stingrays that day. These stingrays swoop over the diver's head and all over his body and give them like this real big hug. and when they do this, the diver knows they're hungry for food!
For a second, I thought the diver was in danger o.O ! I have it on video too. I'll upload it on youtube next time so you'll know what I really mean!
There's more pictures on other fishes, but I can't be bothered putting them all here. I'll upload them on facebook soon so you can look through it yourselves! :)
After witnessing many different sea animals together, I still could not get enough with the penguins! So I dragged Baby back with me to the penguin place^^! hehe

he found them adorable too :)

*huggies*
So yeahh that was pretty much it of our day at the Aquarium^^!
We then walked to Crown and on the way, we photowhored in the middle of a bridge and behind us was the Yarra River.

A week of just turning 18, I finally got the chance to take
my first footsteps on the casino ground! LOL . I sound so horribly
sakai or something haha=P. Please excuse me!
We didn't gamble or anything haha, instead, we watched people play lol. I also witnessed everyone's
serious face and how much concentration they had towards their gamee!
I felt like I could feel the tension running through them! @.@'
Our two days of dessert
@ PANCAKE PARLOUR

I know this is a really LONG blog! Don't worry, I think I'm done elaborating! hehe.
Til then, toodles!
